Victoria Skomarovskaya

Vica was born in Bielorussia in the town of Gomel. She studied at the Mathematics Department of St.-Petersburg State University and is still singing with the University choir (which was first guided by Sandler and then by Krotman). It was the annual concert of this choir that I chose as one of my first recordings in summer of 1995.

Vica went to kolkhoz with us and she participated on the celebrations of the anniversaries of "Potato Guard". It was there that this photo was taken and although it's black-and-white, I believe it's the best picture of Vica. Vica is a very beautiful girl and I used to take pictures of her a lot (some of them you can see in my photo gallery.)

Vica was the leader of the mathematics student team "Unison" and her sociability and inventiveness was much appreciated by everyone.

Vica recorded in my studio only once, together with Dasha. Although she has a beautiful voice and performed several times in a different clubs, she never agreed to make a recording on her own, always preferring co-singing.

She now works with "InterOccidental" and before Masha left they used to work at the same department.
